First Impressions and investigation
When we first saw the photo of our objects, there were many different opinions, we were pretty sure that it was a drill, (although I was quite confident about it being a torture device), we started from that point, and gooogled: "ancient drills" there were some pictures which looked similar, but still our object still looked different. Then we realised why was it different, ours had a hole at the bottom, and we were so tired we left it there. Later, we continued investigating, we were observing other posibilities (including the one of the torture device), but then we, casually, found an image of an ancient spinning wheel, and realised that our object, was a piece of it, it was not exactly the same, but now the bit of the hole made sense. We looked for more images, because we couldn't fing in the spinning wheel the handle, so when we find one which was exactly the same, we got excited. We found that it was a piece of the machine called flyer.
